Demiriz was founded in 1980 in a 40 square meter workshop, where electrical engineer Mr. Salih Guven Demiriz started manufacturing step-down voltage regulators and insulated transformers. After that, the company began the serial production of servo automatic voltage regulators, followed by the production of these regulators by Varik.

Demiriz Elektrik's production without compromising on quality has led to the start of manufacturing new products based on customer requests over time. During this period, the company began producing electric welding machines, spot welding machines, body drawing machines, and battery charging rectifiers. In 1999, the company became an official enterprise under the name of Demiriz Elektrik Industry and Trade Co., Ltd.

In the 2000s, the company began producing gas welding machines, pedal electronic spot welders, pneumatic electronic spot welders, and automatic battery charging rectifiers. Demiriz has also revamped the interior and exterior design of other models, making it possible to offer consumers practical and long-lasting products. In 2008, Demirez quickly began producing arc welding cables, mobile cable reels, telephone cables, satellite/antenna cables and CCTV cables, increasing its expertise in the cable product range. Today Demirez prides itself on producing highly equipped and economical products that can operate for long periods in heavy industrial conditions.
