CNC programer & operator is required for a factory  SAWTRU ELEKTRONIK AND AUTOMATIONS in İkitelli Osb/Başakşehir/İstanbul

Job Summary:

Provide programming and machining expertise in support of the CNC department. Program, setup and operate 3-Axis CNC machinery Mitsubishi M80 and CNC lathe Syntac 22T that fabricating mold components and machine parts.

 

Duties & Responsibilities

Develop CNC programs for milling and lathing components using SolidCAM.

Analyze Solidworks 3D models and drawings and be able to calculate correct tool selection, machine speeds, and feed rates.

Configure tools and ensure efficient machining.

Set up and operate CNC equipment.

Make mechanical and/or program adjustments to ensure parts are meeting quantity and quality requirements.

Use precision measuring instruments including micrometers and calipers, and fixtures and gauges to verify work.

Properly maintains coolant, including removal of containments, proper dilution ratio and cleaning.

Ensures machine and area around machine is kept clean.

Carry out other duties reasonable within capability as required by the production Manager.

 

Minimum & Preferred Qualifications and Experience:

Minimum of 3+ years of experience with CNC programming, and operating a CNC machine.

Experience programming in SolidCAM program.

Must have a proficient understanding of G-code and M-code programming.

Experience setting up and troubleshooting CNC machines.

Able to demonstrate good manufacturing practices and be able to select tooling and machining resources for manufacture of parts.

Strong mathematical skills.

Able to read instrumentation and gauges for measurement purposes.

Able to work under own initiative.

Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.

Ability to work in a team environment.

Qualifications

Bachelors or Masters degree in Mechanical or equivalent engineering degrees.

Fluency in written and spoken English.

-Preference will be given to applicants holding Turkish citizenship
