IT Network Specialist

Key Responsibilities

  • IT Infrastructure Support:

- Maintain and support the organization's IT infrastructure, including hardware, software, networks, and servers.

- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues promptly to minimize downtime.

  • User Support:

- Provide technical support to employees across various departments, addressing hardware and software-related issues.

- Assist in the onboarding and training of employees on IT systems and tools.

  • Collaboration with Departments:

- Work closely with the Sales, Administrators, Operations, Marketing, and Design teams to understand their technology needs.

- Provide tailored IT solutions to enhance departmental efficiency.

  • Data Security and Backup:

- Implement and maintain data security measures to safeguard sensitive information.

- Establish and manage regular data backup procedures to ensure data integrity.

  • System Upgrades and Maintenance:

- Coordinate and execute system upgrades and maintenance tasks to keep technology infrastructure up-to-date.

  • Collaborate with vendors and service providers as needed.

- Collaboration with External IT Partners:

Liaise with external IT service providers to resolve complex technical issues and ensure the efficiency of outsourced IT services.

- Manage relationships with external vendors to optimize IT support.

  • Technology Planning and Implementation:

- Work with the Manager to develop and implement technology strategies aligned with the company's goals.

- Stay informed about industry trends and recommend innovative technologies for consideration.

  • Documentation:

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of IT systems, configurations, and troubleshooting procedures.

- Provide training materials and documentation for end-users.

 

Qualifications:

  • Education: A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is often required.
  • Experience: 5-10 years of experience in IT roles, progressing to more senior positions would be preferable. 
  • Proficiency in English.

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong problem-solving abilities
  • Adaptability and flexibility in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
