Geotextile materials, also known as geotextiles, are permeable fabrics made from polyester, polypropylene, or polymeric materials. They are primarily used in applications related to soil, rocks, or water as permeable materials.

Usage Areas:
- Protecting thermal insulation layers on roofs and filtering water in projects with slopes. It filters water and prevents soil elements from passing through while allowing gases and liquids to flow.
- Geotextiles are used in road paving and repair as a sub-layer. They are used to separate two materials from each other and also serve as reinforcement materials by resisting surface tension through their filtration properties.

Advantages:
- Easy to transport and easy to spread.
- Used as an alternative to special textile materials in some projects.
