Purchasing Officer Required for a Consumer Goods Company in Istanbul

Job Title: Purchasing Officer.

Type of work: Full-time.

Company Location: Istanbul / Turkey.

A leading industrial company in the field of consumer industries announces its need to appoint a purchasing officer with experience in the field of purchasing and logistics.

Tasks and responsibilities:

· Determine the company's needs for materials, equipment and services to be purchased.

· Contact suppliers, obtain price quotes, evaluate quality, cost and delivery, and make the appropriate decision.

· Periodic follow-up with suppliers and manage the company’s relationships with them.

· Ensure the supply of materials and equipment on time, with the best quality and at the lowest possible cost.

· Evaluate the performance of suppliers and work to continuously improve the process.

· Manage the purchasing process from the beginning to delivery and ensure that it conforms to quality standards and technical specifications.

Required qualifications and experiences: · Holds a bachelor's degree in business administration or any related field.

· The applicant has at least 3 years of experience in the field of purchasing and logistics.

Fluent in English.

· Has excellent communication skills and the ability to negotiate.

· Flexible and able to deal with pressure and difficult situations.

· Has good knowledge of the basics of purchasing and logistics management and dealing with specialized computer programs.
