How to prepare
A certain amount of dried and ground green leaves with their stems (available in paper bags ready for consumption) is placed in a cup, then water is added before boiling (70-90) degrees Celsius, and sugar as desired. A special straw is used to drink the extract of the water soaked in this purpose.
There are those who add lemon or orange peel to the mate, or with lemon balm leaves, mint leaves, chamomile, ginger and turmeric, or milk is added to it instead of water or some other flavors as desired.
