CAUSTIC WASHING AND ADHESIVE REMOVAL

• Hot Washing Tanks are used to remove adhesive waste remaining on the PET material and contaminants such as oil that cannot be cleaned with cold water.

• Chemically reinforced hot water is used in Hot Washing Tanks.
• It is manufactured to heat the fixed water in the caustic water tank up to 90oC and then keep it constant at that temperature (after heating, only the pet burrs that enter it for cleaning are cold), to directly release free steam into the tanks and to install the washed material there, with a closed senpant of approximately 25 m inside. The steam will circulate through the circuit and go to the condensate. In our studies, it has a capacity of 1000kg/h at 6 bar pressure.
• We manufacture continuous type, charging type or planetary type Hot Washing Tanks according to customer request.
• Hot Washing Tanks are made of AISI 304 stainless steel material.
• It serves to clean the dirt such as adhesive and oil remaining on the PET.
• It is manufactured as a double layer, and the boiler water is kept warm by giving hot water between the layers.
• It has an automatic water - caustic solution taking system. (Caustic acid solution should be prepared separately)
