HGS is a Fast Pass System that was launched for the first time in 2012. HGS allows vehicles to pass quickly through toll roads and bridges without wasting time. Thanks to RFID technology, vehicles are identified through the Fast Pass System, allowing them to pass directly without waiting. Your vehicle must have an HGS sticker on the front windshield when passing through the Fast Pass System. Your vehicle's information is registered on this sticker and it must have a balance. Your vehicle will be identified at the toll gate or bridge you pass through, and the toll fee will be deducted. This system provides advantages to users, especially in areas with heavy traffic.
How to Obtain HGS
You can apply for an HGS sticker or card for your vehicle at the Post Office (PTT), contracted banks, or sales points.
During the application process, you will need to provide the vehicle owner's identity information and the vehicle's license. If you are applying for a vehicle without ownership, a power of attorney or authorization document will be requested.
In rental cars, the HGS sticker is already available. If it is not present in the rented vehicle, you can apply using the rental agreement.
In case of selling the vehicle, the vehicle owner can cancel the HGS and transfer the balance to another HGS.
How to Load HGS Balance
After obtaining an HGS card or sticker, you need to load it with balance. Balance inquiries can be made through the Post Office and mobile banking. Balance can be loaded easily through PTT, mobile banking, and online banking.
For drivers who regularly use toll roads and bridges, there is an option for automatic payment.
